Are you are a realist? Not sure? Today, I thought we would quickly look at the political viewpoint called Realism. It’s one of the main political theories taught today. Realism is sometimes called Political Realism, realpolitik or simply power politics. Why is it called power politics? Well, at the heart of the Realism theory is power. Today, it is somewhat easy to see how Realism has merit. However, before we get to this point, we need to look at what Political Realism is.
